Jeannie's Chipper Oatmeal Cake Brownies

Or "Brownies To Die For"

JEANNIE'S CHIPPER OATMEAL CAKE BROWNIES

1 ¾ cups boiling water

1 cup oats

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

½ cup margarine

2 eggs

1 ¾ cups flour (unsifted)

¾ cups chopped nuts

1 tsp soda

1 12 oz. Pkg. Choc. Chips

1 tbsp. Cocoa

Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan.

In large bowl pour boiling water over oats.

Let stand 10 minutes.

Add Sugars, margarine and stir until margarine melts.

Add Eggs.

Sift dry ingredients together and add to above.

Mix well.

Add about ½ of the choc. Chips.

Pour batter into prepared pan.

Sprinkle remaining chips and nuts over cake.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
