May - We can't find an assignment anywhere near home this late in the season so looks like we are staying

in Texas until at least August 8th.

May 17 - We proud to now have a doctor in the family. Dr. Joshua David Caballero graduated from

Texas A&M Medical School. He will be doing his ER residency at Scott & White Hospital

             in Temple, Texas.

June 7 - Anthony Sanchez Caballero graduated from high school. He thinks he may attend Temple
College in Temple, Texas or possibly Texas A&M in Corpus Christi.

July - Joshua and Lorri divorced
Joshua & Anthony staying in Temple
Joshua starting residency at Scott & White Hospital in Temple
         Anthony starting college
         Lorri moved to Dallas, Texas
Finally found an assignment back in Illinois

Working at Heartland Hospital in Marion, Illinois
              Tony turned 58 years old.

November 14th - Back in Texas again.
Working back in Victoria, Texas at DeTar Hospital
Expensive trip, gas cheaper but alternator went out on truck twice for a total  of $951 in repairs.

December - Went back to Illinois to spend Christmas with Jeremiah, Cheryl, J.D., and Jordan. Had a great time
                    except it's cold there.

2009

February 23 - 28 - Gail and I went on a cruise. We had so good of a time we forgot to take many
pictures. What we did take in in the photo album.

March 2 - Gail flew back to Indiana.

March 23 - Dustin had back surgery.

March 26 - Tony and I have decided to stay in Texas this year. Tony is signing on at DeTar Hospital in
Victoria, Texas full time starting April 13. We plan on staying only for one year.

April 1 - Well, no April's Fools Joke, we were robbed. Someone broke into our house in Indiana and took almost
everything we own. They broke into the garage and stole our trailer and riding mower, broke into my
workshop and stole all of my tools. If it was electronic they took it. They even took our bed. They took
all of Jeannie's collections and several family items that cannot be replaced. The police think they have
several good fingerprints off of items that had been moved and have sent them off. They think it is
someone who knows us well enough to know that we were not coming back right away. But, in the
meantime we have to fill out insurance papers and try to figure out what all was taken. Keep us in your
               prayers.
Oh, Dustin is recovering from his back surgery well and is back at work.
Cheryl (Jeremiah's wife) has got her grant to start nursing school in May.

May - Well, Tony has signed on to DeTar hospital in Victoria, Texas for at least a year. This will be the first
full summer we have spent here in Texas in years. It's going to get HOT!

State Farm Insurance has really been helpful in helping us replace the items that were stolen. So far
Tony has replaced all his tools. We have replaced several items for the house that we can keep with us
but are going to wait to replace most of the larger items until we leave Texas and are back in Indiana.

June - Still no word from the Sheriff's Dept. about finding out who stole our stuff. We have been traveling back
and forth between Texas and Indiana trying to take care of the house.

June 4 - I had an auto accident. Someone pulled out in front of me and I had no time to react and hit them kind of
broadside. I hurt my neck and back pretty bad. Had to be taken out of the Prius with a neck brace on a
board. X-rays showed nothing fractured but probably suffering from whiplash effects.

June 10 - Tony decided we better get a lawyer to help us with the auto accident since I was injured. Hated to
have to do that but you have to make sure everything is covered since I was injured. Having to start
therapy three times a week. Can't really drive myself yet so someone has to take me.
